As a near-sighted child, Dr. Troy Mysliwiec often went to visit his eye doctor.  His positive experiences there helped form his decision to become an optometrist.   To this day, those moments he shares with a child when they get that first pair of glasses is one of his greatest thrills.

When it comes to his patients, Dr. Mysliwiec values careful listening. “If I were choosing a physician, the qualities I would look for are good listening skills, patience, empathy, and compassion.  I aspire to infuse my practice with those characteristics.”  In addition, he believes in thoroughly explaining treatment options in a clear and uncomplicated way.  “Treatment is only as good as what the patient understands.”

Dr. Mysliwiec is a life-long lover of baseball, basketball, and football.  He likes to hunt, fish, hike, and ski. He plays the guitar, piano, and drums as well as spends time doing DIY projects around the house with his wife and young son.
