As a near-sighted child, Dr. Troy Mysliwiec often visited his eye doctor — experiences that left a lasting impression and inspired his own journey into optometry. Today, some of his greatest joys come from helping children see clearly for the first time, witnessing the excitement in their eyes when they put on that first pair of glasses.

Dr. Mysliwiec is passionate about connecting with his patients through attentive listening. “If I were choosing a physician, I’d look for good listening skills, patience, empathy, and compassion,” he says. “Those are the same qualities I strive to bring to every appointment.” He also believes in making care easy to understand: “Treatment is only as good as what the patient understands.”

Outside the office, Dr. Mysliwiec is a lifelong fan of baseball, basketball, and football. He loves staying active outdoors — whether hunting, fishing, hiking, or skiing — and enjoys playing guitar, piano, and drums. A proud dad of two, he spends much of his free time coaching youth sports and working on DIY projects around the house with his wife and kids.
